Not that it matters, but the story is referring to Stratford PEI.

Skye Chase Estate Winery, originally Quai du Vin Estate Winery, was purchased in 2021 by Kyle MacDonald, who is now overseeing the construction of a 5,000-square-foot building on the Fruit Ridge Line property that’s set to open in a couple of months.

Nearly finished installing the structural steel for a building just west of the CAMI plant in the new Ingersoll industrial park there. Also have alot of foundation footings now poured for another building in the same industrial park. The stockpiled Brightdrop EV van supply has noticeably shrunk in the lots on the west side of the CAMI plant.

Not sure why this would happen given the Goderich Salt mine is the world's largest producer if I'm not mistaken.

Because like the news story notes, salt is only effective to a point (due to temperature). Other places have had the same issue.

We don't seem used to dealing with "old school" winters.

Proposal for a Casino in Grand Bend a no go for now. A number of years ago the Kettle Point FN was looking at a Casino Hotel Resort development beside the Indian Hills Golf Club but that too went nowhere.

A residential project, at the former Krug furniture factory site in Stratford, will be moving forward now that the developer BMI Group has reached a resolution with the Canadian National (CN) Railway.

The redevelopment of the 7.2-acre property will see the construction of several buildings, including a 10-storey tower.
