'Twas a pleasant fall day around downtown Vancouver. Cool, calm and dry with a bit of sun in the afternoon.

Thursday's high at Vancouver Harbour was 13 C, the low was 8 C.

10C and cloudy in Moncton at 9 AM. Temperature will not budge much today.

Went to the Moncton High Purple Knights/l'Odyssee Olympiens football game last night. My youngest son is the special teams coordinator with the Purple Knights. It was a quintessential Canadian experience, huddled in the stands, dressed in multiple layers, freezing my buns off while sheets of heavy drizzle could be seen sweeping the field illuminated by the night time lights. Alas, the Knights lost 18-16, but, will still be in the first round of the NB High School Football League finals next weekend.

Today was the first really cruddy weather day in a long time in Toronto. 12 degrees, mix of cloud and drizzle. Damp and breezy.

Tomorrow looks really nice, with a high of 20 and a mix of cloud and sun; Sunday a high of 22 and rain, but with very high winds. A lot of trees will be bare afterwards.

^ Similar day at Silent Lake Provincial Park, mixed bag, but the sun came out and warmed everything up.

I could post a million photos from this place. Keep in mind this area is passed peak colour and it still looks like this. Just beautiful.

Sunny and windy today. High of 13c.

I thought cruise ship season was over, but I guess not.

13C and sunny. Yet another day where nothing but blue sky. High close to seasonal.

Low of 1C this morning. Came close to the freeze but officially 0.5C so we escaped. Downtown Montreal only went down to 5C this morning. Pretty big difference with YUL.

The warmspot was Point Pelee, ON at 19.6C

Warmest low was Sable Island, NS at 12.1C.

RDF still, baby. Unfortunately it's having basically no impact on our drought.

9C and drizzle in Moncton at 10 AM, only getting up to 11C this afternoon.

Better tomorrow, 17C and sunshine.

Absolutely beautiful day today. 20C, sunny and a light breeze.

Local forest is wall to wall colour right now. These are from a little earlier when it was a mix of sun and clouds.

Some of the trees look like they're almost glowing neon

10C and drizzle in Moncton at 11 AM, going to 13C this afternoon with 30% chance of showers.

Pretty constant RDF over the last several days (with the accent on DF), greening things up, but, overall rainfall is modest, so, we remain in an extreme drought condition. Rural wells in places like the Memramcook Valley are running dry.

Rain, drizzle and fog. It's basically a heavy mist that cycles in intensity throughout the day. It almost never gets as heavy as what you'd consider actual rain, but close enough. At other times, it's just fog.

Downtown the fog bank often lifts and becomes just low cloud cover over us, but the rest of the city is at a high enough elevation to usually remain foggy.

It's been an extraordinarily warm, dry and sunny fall here in Montreal. Barely any precipitation and temperatures generally above normal.

Heading towards a high of 21 today. Very windy though.

The colours are a bit muted this year, maybe because it was also a dry summer. Some parts of the city have peaked, others are still pretty green.

No frost yet which means flowers are still blooming!

Thanks.

May I familiarize you with the RRR acronym: rain, rain and rain?

That's what's happening in Vancouver this weekend.
