TEK tower, while giving K-W some skyscraper looking height, looks too chunky/"chonky". It would have benefited from being given a more slender look, like reducing the length by 15-20%.
Either that or given an extra 25-30m in height imho

Byward/Rideau skyline from hoggytime on Skyrise.

EDIT, a few more from hoggytime, LeBreton and the CBD. Quite a transformation with Dream's Odenak (31 and 36 floors u/c) with their giant podia that will become community hubs, the new central library and some modern towers up on the escarpment up to 36 floors (that tallest just a couple floors out of the ground). The City is also investing in the road network adding bike lanes, wider sidewalks and greenery.

SkyTower approaching the 300 metre super-tall mark (with more than 50 metres still to go).

Went over to the Island for the first time this year. Seeing it in person from that angle is pretty impressive. You can also start to see the curve at the top starting.

And just a random Island picture that looks like Muskoka.

I hope we can get some more colour in the lake view of the skyline. Too much blue glass from that angle. Especially since the tan coloured Star building is expected to be demolished.

I use to love the view for Toronto Islands but now I really can't stand it. You use to be able to see all the different bank buildings and be able to tell them all aprt due to their designs and colours. Now it's nothing but a solid glass menagerie. It's butt ugly and sterile. This is why Toronto could quadruple the number of tall buildings it has and it will never match Chicago.

The view from the islands is just 1 view from a limited angle... there are lots of other places in Toronto where you can see the bank towers, and tell them apart... MolsonExport's picture shows this perfectly...

Not a huge fan of the view from the islands either but it's also the view I'm least likely to see in reality!

Was on a friends 19th floor balcony at Dupont and Lansdowne this weekend and took some pictures of this amazing view:

Just like Vancouver.

You're definition of Butt Ugly is on a very different level than mine. It's funny you reference Chicago because the view from the Island was actually giving me Chicago vibes, now that the skyline is expanding along the waterfront.
