You're just trolling for the sake of trolling, how about some specific examples that people can actually respond to.

I remember when Calgary new Scotiabank Arena was being proposed and there was uproar that the Flames should pay for all of it, even if they don’t end up owning it. I mean, I get that the Flames will massively benefit from it, however it will bring in not only 41 games of hockey, plus another 34 junior hockey games and another 42 AHL games, but all the concerts and economic activity the come with it… yet in Montreal there is no primary secondary or tertiary tenant. Sure they will bring in many acts, but I’d expect there to be uproar for billions spent on a stadium that doesn’t have a tenant, if there was uproar for one that doesn’t.

It just wouldn’t make sense to me for the city of Calgary to not be a partner in the building of a world class stadium that will be used a minimum of 120 nights a year for just the tenants not accounting for other events, with the the potential for a team to leave the city, then the city spending a billion to renovate the saddledome because it’s an iconic part of the city… without a tenant.

Montreal is not spending anything, it's the Quebec government that is putting the money. It's the largest stadium in the province and will benefit not just Montreal but everyone. $870M

Winter activities were always complicated and/or cancelled because of the roof. The stadium was occupied 180 days a year before the renovation in 2024.

Now that the REM will be fully operational in 2027, you will be able to land in YUL and attend a concert or a major event in the Olympic Stadium using only the REM and the METRO.

New rendering of the Sens LeBreton Arena (though seems to be the same concept from 3 years ago) from the NCC Board Meeting.

Really surprised rogers arena/ Canucks havent released anything on the new seats ive seen a few 90% done pictures but that was a month ago. You think they would be jumping at the bit to show them off.

Crazy how not long ago that place was the ugliest interior bowl in pro sports and now its a presentable arena.

The days of the puke green stairs, burgundy seats, drab Grey ceilings, Speckled vintage canucks yellow popping off the 50 shades of blue might behind them finally. Not to mention the 2005 scoreboard (Still cannot beleive they ran it that long) for a Fairly modern building it sure wasnt aging well. Looks like they finally addressed some of those issues

What example would you like to demonstrate the mind boggling waste that is the big Owe? This stadium is a money pit, just accept it lol. The construction is interesting to watch at least...

I think you're the one who needs to accept that the construction is moving forward and your unnecessary negativity doesn't mean much now.

Too bad the Owe isn’t being configured to be baseball specific like the Skydome is now, or spend the money on a new world class baseball stadium, to at least give Mtl the chance to attract MLB back.

I don't expect my commentary to change anything, it's my opinion and I can express it all I want. The more you get mad about it, the more I'm going to comment on it. Maybe just agree to disagree and move on instead of getting mad lol.

I'm sure the back areas where the livestock are kept smell a bit, but the ventilation is probably cranked up to keep as much fresh air flowing through the seating bowl as possible.

The unfortunate thing about the new scoreboard is that it is too large to retract into the hole in the roof truss, so it just sits there during concerts and makes sound and sightlines worse (especially upper bowl dead centre, which used to be great seats).

That and it makes rigging any in-the-round shows excessively difficult…

The same problem exists in the Saddledome, acoustics for concerts are terrible. The Roof shape already made for bad sound, but the big scoreboard just adds to the problem. They have big acoustic blankets they hang around the scoreboard to try and absorb sound and prevent echoes, but its still bad. Looking forward to a concert in the new arena, should be much much better!

Hardly getting mad over an Internet comment, but we already heard you the first three times you said it. And now you comment saying you're going to keep repeating just to try and bother people. Seriously?

As hard as it is to believe they still haven't finished replacing them and may not until February.

You're clearly a little excited as you keep responding and defending this massive waste of money, but hey, it's only my tax dollars sent to you guys to waste, so why should i care... lol

Apart from the seats and scoreboard, what else is happening in the Garage in Vancouver? I'll always call it that since there are too many Rogers buildings lol.

What do you mean by you guys? And how are your tax dollars paying for the stadium, if you live in Calgary? Did you move to Quebec?
