Checked it out this morning, no steel beams flying, nothing new.

After a couple of false starts this morning, they've just raised the second pre-fabricated "observatory" section into position!

Is the part I marked in orange temporary (for the lift) or permanent?

I was wondering that too. I think it’s temporary. It looked like something similar was on the other one but it’s no longer there

Looks like it's built with the quality of Vancouver's very own social housing projects

Ah damn! I worked all day in White Rock today, no commute by this site. Tomorrow I'm in Surrey most of the day. Oh well, I'll capture the new addition later this week.
Try again for the next one, going to run out of installs before I capture one being lifted into place.

It was placed on the side facing into the courtyard. I think it's just a waiting game now for a certain number of floors to be finished so they can install a new box. I assume the steel assembly doesn't take as long.

Yeah, the assembly with practice and familiarization, would make it quicker to get done.
I'll bring my 'quikpod selfy extreme stick' and get a look over that hoarding wall.

Perhaps it's mostly the lighting but here the stubby fins on the windowless sections reminds me of some concrete clad West End towers, say 1265 Burnaby for example.
