21C with a humidex of 24 and mainly cloudy. First mainly cloudy day in I don't know how long. Humidity has finally increased so there is a certain mildness to it.
We did get a couple of drops this evening just enough to wet the pavement but nothing more. Don't see anything on the radar right now. EC forecasting 10-15 mm. They live in la-la land.

Low of 14C this morning.

The warmspot was Dauphin, MB at 29.4C. First day this month no places reaches 30C.

Warmest low was Point Pelee, ON at 19.7C.

25 and sunny with a humidex of 30 today, another beautiful day. Yesterday was mostly cloudy, with a high of 25.3 and low of 19.7.

Last night was warm and rainy and wildlife was very active. I drove home from Sarnia around 11pm and saw a fox, possum, racoon, jack rabbit and coyote. There were frogs all over the road. When I got home, everything was covered in midges

21C with a humidex of 26 and mainly cloudy.

Low of 17C this morning. A little bit of rain. But I love the mildness. I missed it with the excessively long stretch of dry weather and low dewpoint.

The warmspot was Lytton, BC at 31.1C. Another surge of warmth for BC.

Warmest low were Burlington Piers and Cobourg, ON at 19.2C

Tomorrow is our last chance for 30 in BC it looks, and its an outside chance.

A hot day this time of the year in BC is very interesting for the evening temperatures, because it shows the huge range in how fast different locations cool off. Some are close to lakes, which moderate the temperatures, some are located where warm winds tend to blow, and others are located in the heart of a localized cold sink.

At 9PM

Lytton 25
Kamloops 23
Ashcroft 22
Osoyoos 21
Penticton 20
Lillooet 20
Summerland 19

Kelowna Airport 14.... Kelowna airport has among the most rapid cool down after sunset in the hot interior valleys.

At midnight in the summer driving from Kelowna to Vernon, it will often be mid 20s (sometimes high 20s) in downtown Kelowna, then through the suburban areas it dips to low 20s, then, about a km out of the airport the temperature drops to the mid to high teens, then, as you continue past the airport the temperature shoots up again around Winfield and Lake Country to the low 20s and then it can again hit the mid to high 20s along Kalamalka Lake.

Driving along the #1 from Kamloops to Lytton the temperatures are much more even, usually in the mid to high 20s at midnight in July and August.

Big thunderstorm Sunday night, another big one last night, rain all day today and more thunderstorms possible tomorrow. We are making up for lost time from our very dry summer. Super muggy and humid out.

All leads into a brilliant weekend - 23,24,24 and all sunshine. Great way to end what I consider the pleasant weather season in southern Ontario (May 15th - September 30th).

Into October, the long range is looking seasonal to above seasonal, mostly dry and high temps between 17 and 22.

A rainy day, low of 19.1 this morning and currently 20.3. Probably will stay like this until tomorrow.

The weekend forecast has been significantly upgraded, possibly 25+ for several days

5C difference between Lillooet and Lytton is pretty wild.

22C with a humidex of 25 and sunny this afternoon. Cloudy until about noon.

Low of 14C this morning. Relatively mild. God I love higher humidity.

The warmspot was Moose Jaw, SK at 32.5C. I cannot believe the heat that has been going on out West (especially BC). We've been constantly warm but haven't had any big heat episodes.

Warmest low was Toronto (City Centre), ON at 19.1C

20C and mostly cloudy in Moncton at 4 PM.

RAIN beginning tonight at about midnight, lasting until tomorrow morning. Perhaps 20-30 mm of the stuff. This will be our largest rainfall in nearly two months!!!

18C and rainy today. First such day this month.

Low of 16C. Super mild.

The warmspot was Barnwell, AB at 31.7C. Just mind boggling month out West.

Warmest low was Port Weller and Toronto (City Centre), ON at 18.3C.

It's lovely AGAIN! In hindsight, this summer has felt about six months long.

19C, cloudy and humid in Moncton at 8 AM, going up to 25C this afternoon.

It rained all night. We probably got about 25 mm worth. Very welcome, but, not nearly enough. We are going back into out summertime drought pattern as of later today. Wall to wall sunshine for the upcoming week, with generally summertime temperatures.

One good thing about this persistent dome of high pressure is that it is keeping hurricane activity off shore. It looks like Humberto will probably be a fish storm too.
