Lots of opposition from local residents for this development including, height, setbacks, parking ramp approach, balconies, rooftop patio, number of units, but ultimately it was approved by Riel Community Committee with conditions, car share, 3 traffic calming measures and 25 three bedroom units (which was already part of the building plan).
My favorite classic line, we are here in opposition to a number of issues with this development but we are not NIMB's.

Description: The proposed plan involves rezoning parcels to the “RMF-L” zoning district for a 7-story multi-family building with 115 residential units, including 1-, 2-, and 3-bedroom units, and a height of 72 feet to the parapet. Landscaping exceeds requirements with 26 new trees, 3 preserved trees, and 88 shrubs, alongside a 1,500-square-foot rooftop terrace, internal garbage/recycling facilities, and vehicle access from Aubert Street to an underground parking area.
