What Halifax's skyline has going for it is character and logical endpoints. The detraction is no comparable 'absolute' height. That being said, it is more of a true skyline than cities 2x-3x bigger population.

Case in point example from the Halifax skyline thread:

An Édifice Price would look great in the Halifax's skyline.

The earth is flat because the Bible says it is flat, regardless of what science tells us.

According to a 2018 YouGov opinion poll, "just 66% of millennials firmly believe" that Earth is round.

Great idea! Some 'faux' stuff would have a natural home on the right in the image above.

With the recent removal of the Cogswell interchange, there are lots that may be able to go very tall (given moves to remove a bylaw that prevents higher than the citadel).

It would have been really cool I Halifax has gotten of those châteauesque railway hotels à la Chateau frontenac / Laurier. It's strange that it hasn't, come to think of it. Edit: I'm aware of the nova Scotian and lord Nelson...both railway hotels. I keep forgetting about them because I never notice them in the skyline.

It depends on how you view the question. The person may have thought it was a trick question, because the Earth is not perfectly round. It has a slight oval shape because of the Earths rotation.

Im quite certain the vast majority of adults know the Earth is pretty much round.

If true, that's just sad (and reflects poorly on the edumacation system)

There's another one on SRC that look almost the same. Maybe the same photographer?

My favourite has been 10% of Americans believe brown cows produce chocolate milk.

The Millennial thing is somewhat believable. 10% of Millennials are among the brightest, most productive people to ever walk the earth but, the other 90% are effectively useless.

There have been a lot of dystopian sunset/sunrises these past few years due to the smoke, but those one I actually like.

One of Toronto from FB . It's older, I'm guessing October 2024.

What’s the name of the neighbourhood(s) in the foreground? I wish the photographer took his foot off the orange accelerator, but otherwise a stunning photo!

For now posting one of several Montreal skyline shots - still sorting through my photos after arriving back in Victoria last night.

Really happy with this one considering I didn’t have a tripod or ledge to use, so this is handheld at 1/8 of a second.
