Dream Developments held a groundbreaking ceremony at the land on the northwest edge of the city. The community will cover 1,800 acres, with Dream developing 1,200 acres during the next three decades. At completion, it's projected to be home to about 36,000 people — bigger than the current population of Moose Jaw.
It would also make it one of the largest neighbourhoods ever built in Saskatchewan.
