11C and sunny in Moncton at 9 AM, going up to 22C this afternoon.

We had a bit of rain last night, but, not nearly enough, only a few mm. Just a tease for the grass.

I still have not mowed the lawn since the end of July. The only thing I did yesterday was take down the taller weeds with a weed-whacker. The rest of the lawn remains dormant.

Next tropical wave to keep an eye on:



80% chance of this developing into something within the next seven days. On it's current track, I think the Maritimes will be OK, but Newfoundland might be at risk. This of course all depends on things such as blocking highs etc. Too soon to tell yet.
