Or it might make the area safer by retaining people all hours so the streets are not deserted. They would need security but even the Denny's by the Airport has that. Or even open till midnight, 1 am 2 am?
It might be ok to have a typical eatery cause not everyone can eat spicy or likes pumpkin squash saffron turtle soup, spinach truffle mango chutney bordelaise dishes etc...

I have recently heard a rumor that it will be a second location for a local Italian restaurant.

Maybe Harth. They are way out on south st Anne’s by the perimeter. It’s quite popular with the south end folks.

Harth is awesome. Great food...in my opinion.

First guess was Passero but they're on corydon already. Opening another location 6 blocks away would be odd.

Agreed. My money's on Harth or Rae's Bistro. Both super far from the city centre.

Banners are up on the fencing around the new build at Corydon and Wilton, next to Fifth salon. Looks like Kevin's Bistro and.... Stella's... are going to open in the fall. We'll see if that's a second location for Kevin's or if they're relocating from the Exchange. As for Stella's, there seem to be more of them around here than Subways.

Interesting item in the City Centre committee agenda for September. Coloseo on Corydon wants to purchase and close the sidewalk on their side of Hugo to expand their patio. Public Works is recommending against it.

that's interesting....they must be doing well.

interesting to see Stella's creeping back into a mature neighbourhood after their social media cancelling and subsequent exodus to the suburbs...although I guess its a pretty safe River Heights.

I used to love Stella's but I went there a couple weeks ago and was blown away by the cost....
