Many zoos and a few science museums have hosted traveling installations of animatronic dinosaurs, and I think a few have had prehistoric mammals as well. The only permanent animatronic exhibit I can think of seeing is not in a museum...it is in an indoor restaurant that rotates slowly while looking at several scenes of nature with moving fauna models. A boat ride also views the same scenes. It is more of an attraction than a display but it is executed with educational sincerity. The photos I have of it only show one of the scenes, which ironically has moving bison (what timing!):
