Thank you so much! I don’t want to tell you how long it took to edit it together.

Also funny note, after posting it on r/Kelowna it was removed by a moderator as spam

—, you spend countless hours putting together a passionate video about a place, and they remove it from their subreddit. But if I posted a crappy meme, I’m sure that would fly…

Reddit has become awful. Just endless new article / rage bait —.

The funniest part was for the hour the post existed it was getting a lot of comments / conversation and interactions, but apparently it was a no no??

Yeah, Reddit is a really weird corner of the social media world. I posted some photos in r/Vancouver a few years ago, and they got deleted as spam as well. That was the last time I posted a thread in r/Vancouver.
Sometimes, Reddit feels like it's where introverts go to be extroverted.

Anyway, it's starting to heat up in Metro Vancouver again. Should be a nice week/weekend ahead.

High of 22c today.

Entertaining Kelowna video!

I have never been to Kelowna, but, for some reason, I feel some kinship with the city. It may be because Moncton is only a bit smaller (almost 200k), and is a similarly ambitious regional city. Of course, we don't have the lake or desert climate, but still. I very much want to visit the city some day.

Currently 13C and sunny in Moncton at 8 AM, going up to 26C this afternoon. Next possible chance for rain is Monday, but, that is only a 60% chance of showers.

This is great! Im probably just a wee bit biased, but there really isnt anything in Canada like it, with the eco diversity and the abundance of every type of outdoor activity you could almost think of through each season. Happy to call it home.

Anyways, its been a pretty seasonal week here so far, highs 20s and sunshine. We are ramping up temperatures gradually into next week where we will see a return of summer with multiple days around the 33c-35c mark all next week.

MonctonRad, if you ever make it out, first beer is on me.

The tropical Atlantic is heating up (both literally and figuratively).

Erin is heading out to sea as a fish storm. There are three other tropical waves however progressing across the Atlantic, requiring watching over the next couple of weeks.

I wondered what that display was for. I didn’t realize you could use it like this.
It’s so strange with the stairs leading strangers to peer directly into your tea.

Great pics as always!

Really? They removed your pics? It really is a bizarre platform. Pics like yours and videos like ours which are clearly passionate celebrations of these cities / communities are removed as spam, but then you see the junk they allow to remain on the subreddits. Just bizarre.

The day started off gloomy like yesterday, but ended up nice and sunny. High of 23.8 and low of 17.5. Yesterday was overcast with a high of 21.8 and low of 18.1. Very cool after so many weeks of hot and humid weather

Thanks!

The more I've been thinking about it, the more that I'm starting to feel that Kelowna has the best setting for a city in Canada, even more so than Vancouver (again, as the video explains, I'm a sucker for the rolling semi-arid landscapes, and before anyone goes crazy against this, its just my subjective feeling).

And yes, I really do hope you make it out to the Okanagan one of these days MonctonRad. I also definitely see what you are saying of the similarities of Moncton and Kelowna in their drives to become more established cities.

Cloudy, windy, and 13 at 9:30am. Another day well below seasonal, highs only expected around 15. Been almost a week straight of temperatures around 7 degrees below average.

Temperatures should get back to seasonal on Sunday, rest of the long range looking decent, highs between 20 and 25.

After sunset last evening... ships out in the basin waiting-out the passing of Hurricane Erin before departing. In the closer Wright's Cove are a number of visiting private yachts moored for the same reason. The forecast for today is for a mostly cloudy sky and a high of 22. Sun and 26 tomorrow. No much needed rain.

That's a little close for comfort. It's like it's giving yous a warning "I'm only the fifth letter in the alphabet".
We will be keeping a close eye this season.
