Shining Waters Motel (1831 St Margaret's Bay Road) is coming along. Window signage indicates a Subway will be it's first commercial tenant.

I saw that tidbit when I searched your site this week. Either a strange coincidence or maybe it was required in the property sale that allowed this development.

Btw there is a post scheduled for tomorrow on my blog that shows the signage. Feel free to use it if you want, no conditions.

Blasting permit has been issued for FAIRWAY ELEVEN.

I'll pop by later this week to see if they've started throwing around snow.

Building permit was just submitted for a gas station and two food chain restaurants at 16 MARKETWAY LANE. This is the vacant lot between Timberlea Village Parkway and McDonald's that has long been rumoured as a future Petro-Canada.

The lot size dictates more of a drive-thru focused chain restaurant so a Tims, Second Cup or my hope is for a Robin's Donuts. Petro Canada has these combos in play already in Nova Scotia.

A large mobile crane looked to be ready (but boomed down) to install the tower crane for the next multi-unit buildings in Brunello driving inbound on the 103 today.

Ditto on the Robin's. I'd love to see more of them start appearing.

X2

Way better than Tim's (I don't go to Tim's anymore... their coffee is terrible). I would go to Robin's if there were more around.

According to a quote in AllNovaScotia this will be a Petro Canada with Orange Store, A&W, and a Little Ceasers (new partnership).

The information is vague but a development-only permit has been submitted for 1840 St. Margaret's Bay Road to allow for a retail building. This is between Tim's and Ultramar near the new self-storage place going up and the Shining Waters Motel.
