Why have a train station when there's no track for a train to run on?

The red line is like a half mile away, and trying to divert it into Muller would have been tremendously expensive (and tremendously dislocating to the existing SF homes on either side of the line).

Mueller would be a Great place for a train line though. The density is much higher than other areas. That entire area is more walking friendly than car friendly. What would be a better way to move people?

Yeah I agree I am sure it would have been expensive, but it would have been so nice to have.

I could see a world where the red line was rerouted to go down airport Blvd instead of weaving through Cherrywood. But I'm sure that cost CapMetro $500M somehow.

For as much as I like the idea of project connect, I do think it's possible that investing more in the red line would have been the better play. Seems like there is still so much uncertainty in project connect actually happening even though it's been 4 years since the vote was passed.

While the red line route is a little awkward the lack of accessible stations is the biggest problem and it shouldn't be that hard to solve.

Is there anything planned at 3207 Manor Road, next to the Emma Browning?

The lot was recently cleared and they hauled off the double wide that was there (which was itself likely used as the construction site HQ for the Emma).

Cumby Group was supposed to develop the lots both to the east and west (including down Theo drive) but they never did. They were called “Maverick” and “Maven”. I have a link somewhere that used to show renders that at this point were obviously just artistic and not realistic, I’ll see if I can find it. Maybe they’re finally moving on those projects.

Edit: not what I had, but I found this: https://www.facebook.com/watch/?v=84...LmNvbVwvIn0%3D

I love the amenities area being over the garage, that's actually kinda clever. Guessing it helps make the building slightly more compact vs the typical one courtyard hole/one garage hole of a donut.
