So, is building 2 fully finished and in the process of being occupied?

This appears to have been filmed from one of the units in the Second Sister.
The timelapse video above was filmed from one of the apartment units in the Second Sister.

Someone who lives in building 2 posted earlier that they see new tenants every week, but there are still vacancies.

Their quote earlier on in this thread:

Quote:
I know they were struggling to fill units a few months ago. It does seem like more and more new faces each week but not filled. Lots of empty spots in the underground parking.

I was just looking at the 3rd sister, and they aren't wasting any time with the metal studding. There's just the top 5 floors to go, so still lots of work for the crane. Eventually we'll see it move over to the Gateway Towers site.

Another new commercial tenant is under construction in the podium of the first sister (corner unit).

Jemmy Gourmet will be a bakery/bistro. They have an existing location in Dieppe. This will be a second location.

https://jemmygourmet.com/

Lafford hasn't done too badly in terms of quality commercial tenants (especially given this is still an active construction site)

- Bright & Brine Art Gallery
- Safir Moroccan Spa
- Mancuso Clinic
- Jemmy Gourmet Bistro & Bakery

According to a post on Retail Talk & Share, a fifth commercial tenant in the podium will be announced soon.

Three Sisters as seen from the plaza in front of the Avenir Centre.

Still lots of work left to do on tower three, but the complex is (superficially) starting to look somewhat finished.

Just wait until the two Gateway towers are finished in the background!

A fantastic addition to our skyline, and a harbinger of more development

This picture just reminds me of how close this development is to the Avenir plaza. Separated (unfortunately) by Moncton's downtown asphalt ocean.

Another awesome addition coming to the The Three Sisters, “Soika” which sells European grocery’s (meats, cheeses, fish etc.) will open a store there. They are Ukrainian owned and this will be there 4th store in Atlantic Canada.

Indeed. A quality addition to the Three Sisters. The leasing team at Lafford has outdone itself with attracting high quality tenants for this major development:

- Bright & Brine Fine Art Gallery
- Safir Moroccan Spa
- Mancuso Clinic
- Jemmy Gourmet Bistro & Bakery
- Soika European Grocery & Cafe

Soika will be located on the Record Street side, immediately next to Jemmy Gourmet Bistro. That will be a powerful one-two punch for generating traffic.

I can't wait to see what comes next!

I'm going to cross-post this photo from the [Downtown] thread. It nicely shows how close the Three Sisters are to the Hal Betts Sportsplex, and gives the towers some neighbourhood context. You can also see the new Seville building on Waterloo taking shpae almost next door.

Now imagine it in 3-4 years time with the Gateway Towers across the street! What an incredible transfprmation for this neighbourhood!!!
