I suspect if we see another tower it will be on the east half of the parking lot in the future. The size of the footing foundations they are building now for the underground parking don't look large enough to support a 35s future tower. Maybe a building half that size if they decide to eventually build it.

I suspect if I did see that lot, I probably assumed it was construction workers, as I only ever go by there in the daytime.

Forming for the northern third of the L2 floor slab now well underway with good progress of the L2 walls and posts pours on the south end. Forming for the L3 to L2 ramp progressing well.

They have now poured the L2 floor slab and the L3 to L2 parking ramp. Have around 60% of the L2 walls and posts now poured. Have got forming for the L1 floor slab on the south end of the pit now installed, waiting steel rebar installation next.

They have now poured about 2/3rds of the L1 floor slab on the south side of the pit. Even have a couple of L1 posts now poured and others formed. They have also now poured the L2 to L1 parking ramp. Still have some of the last few sections of L2 walls to finish forming and pouring on the north end of the pit.

Who knows when they are actually going to build the building itself but they have been building the underground parking garage that will be used by the new just completed building next door.

It's doesn't appear that they will build a tower above this 3 level underground parking garage. The original proposal for 2 towers of 35s and 32s is I suspect history. They may well build a 2nd tower on the east side of the lot or partner or sell it off to another developer for a future project.

I went by the site yesterday {yes I was in London!} and the whole site looks pretty large and under construction. It seems like a lot of work and money spent for a garage which is just replacing a parking lot.

Doing the ground floor slab pour on the south third of the parking garage today. Concrete pump truck and parade of cement trucks. Lots of L1 wall and post forming yet to do as well as the forming for the L1 to ground parking ramp.

Because at some point this will be the base of the next tower. I'm sure part of the thought process was by the time the parking levels were done, the market would be more favourable to building that next tower.

Well that kind of makes sense and it's cheaper to build it now than later. This bodes very well for the development going forward.

They have now poured the ground floor slab in the middle section. None of the walls and posts have steel rebar above the slab where future walls and posts would be in a future building, so its not likely ever planned to happen. The eastern half of this parcel is undeveloped and may in the future see a high rise building but it may be years before that happens and may not even by Ayerswood that does it.

They are now forming the parking ramp above ground walls. Forming for the remaining ground floor slab on the north end is well underway and should be poured very soon.

Looks like they have now poured the ground floor slab on the northern third completing the ground floor slab. They have also now poured the walls of what appears to be a stairwell entrance along the King St side. Work continues on the parking ramp entrance above ground walls. Concrete work is wrapping up soon on this parking garage and would expect the tower crane to be removed shortly. Still no news on what they have decided to do on the eastern side of the remaining property. Will it be used as a surface parking lot for years to come or see a future building?

The number of parking spaces in the new structure might at least suggest what the future may hold.
