Shameless Post Malone picture (with north end-zone construction). Also, two lone construction workers watched the whole concert from the crane top.

Lots of cranes in the sky above Downtown and how many dozen are up at Micron?

This set includes apartments with ground floor retail/a huge new Hotel(s) and the YMCA. The Bannock update is in my photo thread.

After years of speculation and wonder, documentation for 11th and Front, the tallest building in Boise/Idaho, has been uploaded to the Boise permit page. There is an upcoming meeting on the 31st. Coming in at 451 feet in height, this building coimpletely dwarfs the Zion Bank Building by 100+ feet. The building is rather contemporary in design, which is no surprise, however the neighborhood meeting from last month seemed to make a large emphasis on Art Deco design elements. From the renders currently available I personally do not see it, however they might still incorporate more subtle certain deisgn motifs throughout. I really quite like the massing of the deisgn. Having the tower step back as it rises makes for a more slender and sleek design. The massing mock-ups I did a few months back seem to be rather accurate if any of you want additional context.

Here is the link to the permit page. The documents listed on 7/09/2025 - 7/15/2025 contain the elevation mock-ups. There are a few more renders in these documents plus some more information.

Fantastic! With the new 15-story hotel rising behind it, that block is going to feel dense. Based on the simple early drawings, I’m already a fan. It’s going to make a big impact on our skyline. Can’t tell you how excited I am to finally see Boise push past that 200–300 ft ceiling developers always seem stuck on around here.

Boise is about to level up.

(All of this assuming it happens - fingers crossed)

I have a great filling this project is about fill the void Downtown Boise has been missing a 451' tower , with all the massing around it it's going to look beautiful coming off the connecter can't wait for the more detailed renderings come out , Let's keep rising

Does anyone else have the rest of the renderings or documents? I’ve got nothing loading.

Also, do you guys think this can escape with its height intact?

11th & Front Apartments

At 39 floors and total height of 451.33 feet, this will be a stunning addition to our skyline.

so, this lot is now up for sale and potential development. another prime piece of real estate for much more than a 4-story building, perhaps?

That's encouraging, that 1/2 block is in need of a serious upgrade.

I got that it’s on the site, but it won’t download properly for me. Can anyone screenshot the extra renderings or something like that? Or are those the only two images?

there aren't that many renderings yet. here's one i pulled from a small thumbnail on the cover page:

thankfully there are no height limits on this site, so from that standpoint it should be fine.

Exciting news

Here is a bit more, regarding adding more office jobs to downtown.

Amazon subsdiary sets up shop in Boise with plan for ‘long-term growth’
Don Day - BoiseDev Editor

An Amazon spokesperson said the company “was attracted to Boise by the strong technical talent pool in the area from Boise State University’s engineering programs and tech community. We’re actively recruiting for a variety of roles and are in the early stages of building out our team in Boise.”

Eero plans “long-term growth” in the Boise area and is making a “meaningful commitment” to Boise.
