Phun With Photoshop: Faux Vintage Postcards

[bilbao58]

This past week or so I've been having "phun" taking some of my old (and not-so-old) photos and creating faux vintage post cards with Photoshop.
These were done solely for my entertainment. I'm not a professional graphic designer or anything.

Here are most of them so far along with the original photos:

.
.
I confess to having "borrowed" a number of the city name graphics along with a couple of "textures" for creating the antique looks.

I love these, I think they are artistically done, and saleable too.

This is one of the most unique photothreads in a long time! Great idea!

Thank you! I wasn't sure how these would be received as a photo thread.

[geomorph]

I like the San Antonio one the best!

Yeah... That may be my favorite, too. I also can't seem to stop tweaking it.

Now that's the creativity where people always talking about, the "GOOD IDEA".

Thank you for implementing.

These are great. You're a very talented photographer - do you do it for a living? Or some kind of visual art?

[geomorph]

The Pantheon one is really great, looks like a textbook illustration.

[mousquet]

Great idea of doing this.
