As much as I love the height of this tower, I really just do not care about the design one bit. The glass curtain portion is boring and the base is just dull and sterile. It's a shame we couldn't get a better design for the tallest building built here in what feels like decades.

I've really enjoyed watching this one rise. Now that it's truly rising, it's remarkable to see it become visible in areas I hadn't expected.

I walked by it last weekend, really looms over the street which i like

Very exciting to watch! Only downside - that's a HUGE wall of concrete nothingness along the back sides of the project. As expansive as this project is, could they not have included a glass facade there?

Windows are not allowed when built to the lot line to prevent fire spreading

I had a jobsite out off Thornton Road yesterday and coming back in on I-20 from the west it's quite noticeable now. The slenderness of the residential portion makes it appear very similar to the Peachtree Plaza Hotel as a silhouette along the skyline.

To be honest, from a professional perspective, this building is actually quite ugly. Setting aside the glass tower on top, the massive parking podium and the plain, uninspired office façade below are already tacky enough. The key issue is that these three very different elements are stacked together, which just makes the whole thing feel awkward. And it’s not just me — many architects have expressed the same sentiment. They’re all wondering how such a bizarre skyscraper ended up being built in Atlanta.

I agree with you. Also, the facade materials are poor quality and misaligned. I don't like anything about it and I'm surprised they spent so much on height only to cheap out on everything else.
