I guess I just assumed Deecorp owned that building too. Strange

Aritizia could keep that space and change to another of their stores like Babaton.
There's already a Wilfred next door that could also be expanded.

If it's not been mentioned already, there's chatter in the market that Lululemon is taking 300+K SF of the office space above the former Nordstrom location.

Microsoft would have to leave if they want all 280K sq feet.

I think Sony leaving and there was one floor that was still available on sub-lease recently.

Maybe a flagship store + offices?

Didn't they just renovate their flagship at Burrard?

They relatively recently leased the building at Burrard Place, over the Pattison dealership. (That's known as Lululemon Drake). I think they're also still in their original offices at 1818 Cornwall (the converted Coca Cola plant), but that's obviously a potential redevelopment. They bought that building in 2011.

They are tenants in 1380 Burrard too, but that building is also a redevelopment candidate, and was ordered sold off when Coromandel went under last year. I'm not sure if it's actually been sold yet.

They haven't moved on with their False Creek Flats new HQ project for some years, so presumably that's dead in the water.

Sorry, I meant the flagship retail store at Robson & Burrard.
Maybe 2022 is ancient history in the retail world.
... and they have a store in Pacific Centre.
Maybe consolidating the two?

They expanded at 1380 Burrard to 107,000 sq feet in Aug 2022. That building seems like it's still for sale.

https://www.floorspace.ca/insights/first-movers-vancouver-summer-update-9-notable-office-leases/

And they have 30,000 SF at 1523 West 3rd Avenue

They cut 150 corporate jobs last month

https://www.cbc.ca/news/business/lululemon-cutting-150-corporate-jobs-1.7564419

And they promised 2600 new jobs over 5 years in 2023

Microsoft is leaving. They are consolidating in B6, so I'm told.

They probably had zero luck trying to sub-lease their B6 space and their lease was probably coming up for renewal at 725 Granville like Sony.

Seems like someone is cutting up the floor slab and installing internal stairwells for floors 18, 19, 21, 22, 24, 25 and 29

https://plposweb.vancouver.ca/Public/Default.aspx?PossePresentation=Guest&PosseObjectId=258480502

27-29 is Microsoft

https://plposweb.vancouver.ca/Public/Default.aspx?PossePresentation=Guest&PosseObjectId=258716457

20-25 also Microsoft

https://plposweb.vancouver.ca/Public/Default.aspx?PossePresentation=Guest&PosseObjectId=258716878

I assume 17-19 is also Microsoft since the permit contact is the same.

And possibly 9-12 also same contractor but the contact is someone from Perkins Will so might be that law firm that took a big chunk of B6?

Their 725 Water Street office is already listed as available for lease

Lululemon expands corporate headquarters with downtown Vancouver deal
Athletic wear maker plans to move into former Microsoft office space next year

Athletic apparel retailer Lululemon plans to expand its corporate footprint in downtown Vancouver after signing one of the city's biggest office leases in years.

The retailer plans to fully occupy a 289,557-square-foot building at 725 Granville St. being vacated by tech giant Microsoft, a company spokesperson told CoStar News.

"Lululemon was founded in Vancouver, and we are proud the city is home to our global headquarters and the majority of our corporate employees,” the spokesperson said in an email. “As we continue to grow, we are excited to share that we are further expanding in the city and have secured nearly 300,000 square feet of additional office space" in the Pacific Centre office building.

The deal represents one of largest leases of the past four years signed in greater Vancouver and fills what would have been a large vacancy left by Microsoft, CoStar data shows

I guess this makes the Great Northern Way head office idea even less likely! (for quite a while at least)

I'm surprised they wouldn't have made a deal with Senak'w to consolidate their office space there. It would be on brand. They seems to be happy in Kits.

They already have much more space Downtown than in the old Kits offices. And Sen̓áḵw doesn't have any proposed large commercial office space.

Hmm, then maybe the "launch customer" for whatever Concord's going to build on the old Molsons site, though I realize that would be years away. It just seems that as a local company with a high profile they'd want something built for them. Now they seem to be scattered over several buildings.
