I'm warming up to it more. As it rises, it looks much better than the renderings to me. It also looks good the way it dominates that part of the skyline.

I've read lots of articles that Austin's tech business and economy generally have fallen off a cliff and that housing prices have plunged. I wonder if there's demand for this tower.

Could you please provide a source or sources? Would really appreciate it.

I'm on an automated real estate notification site for my old neighborhood in north central Austin. In that area, homes are still selling quickly, some over asking price. I've seen some price decreases in some cases, usually for homes having an asking price over 1.5M.

Plunged is not a world that I would use. They have corrected some and are trending back toward normal pricing instead of these inflated pricing that they have been for years. Houses are on the market longer but only by a month. The Tech scene has cooled. We still have all our tech business. Not much hiring at the moment. Samsung is having issues with its new fab. NXP wont leave for another 5 to 7 years. Oracle is still here and expanding. NVIDA just bought more office space. Austin is still growing but just as a slower pace.

And Apple 1 billion dollar campus and they are all in on keeping a presence in Austin. ATX is def not dying anytime soon.
