I think we can now safely say that Chicago's pandemic-induced violent crime spike has finally waned.
It would be nice to think this leads to a virtuous cycle. If there are 40% less shootings that police have to respond too, you'd think that at least *some* of the time they save can be devoted to preventing new shootings.
