They have now removed the exterior construction elevator from the west side of the 19s north tower. Should see the masonry return to install the 4s podium brick for the strip that the elevator obstructed. Also the balcony doors should start being installed along the same strip.

Probably early spring for the first tenants as there is still a lot of exterior and interior finishing left to complete. The new roadway on the south side and driveway on the west side still needs to be built.

Should be finishing the 4 story run of exterior brick on the 19s north tower where the exterior construction elevator was mounted this week. Still have the exterior construction elevator on the south tower. Should see it removed soon. Still no work on the exterior driveway and road extension to serve this project. Also no signs of any work on the heritage building on the corner.

They have now removed the exterior construction elevator from the south side of the south 23s tower and are working on the 4s exterior brick prep and balcony doors along the strip the elevator covered.

Balcony railing installation now complete on the 19s north tower. The brick installation on the south tower podium section where the construction elevator was mounted appears to be complete now. Heavy equipment is now working at the end of Waterloo St where the extension of Nelson St will eventually connect south of these towers. Imagine they will need to install underground utilities for this new section of street that should be built over the coming months. Should also see work starting soon on the driveway entrance off South St which also will connect to the extension of Nelson St on the south side and provide access to the underground parking entrance on the west side of the podium base.

They have started pouring some of the sidewalk path approaches to these buildings and building a fence around the electrical transformer on the SE side of the south tower.

Sod has now been installed along the South Street side on the north tower. Grading for the driveway entrance along the west side has started in preparation for the curb installation and eventual paving. Unless they plan to use concrete or paving stones for the west side driveway entrance. Working on the balcony glass installation now on the south tower. Crawler crane now working at the base of Waterloo Street where it's supposed to connect to the extension of Nelson St south of the tower creating a pedestrian route overlooking the Thames River.

I drove by these towers a few days ago, they look decent coming from Medallion. They won't win any awards but they are much better than the concrete slabs we are used to.

Good news finally from Medallion as they have brought in a contractor who is now setting up scaffolding around the heritage building on the corner in front of their two new towers. A construction trailer is also fronting Colborne St so it appears they will finally start renovating the old building. I believe they planned to create some rather unique loft style residential units on the upper floors and commercial-retail on the ground floor to use the public square space between the tower podium.

Not sure why there hasn't been any work on the extension of Nelson St west to the southern end of Waterloo yet. They are still doing some major utility sewer
work at the end of Waterloo. Also Medallion still hasn't built their driveway entrance off South street as it is still just a crushed stone driveway. There may already be tenants now living in the 19s tower.

Medallion Corp has updated their webpage for these buildings with rental info and some updated renders and photos.

https://medallioncorp.com/property/sohosq-london-ontario/

They appear to have tenants already in the 19s north tower. Also covered scaffolding is up around the heritage building as they are likely cleaning up the exterior brick and replacing the windows. Still have not built the driveway entrance off South St, as it is still just gravel for some reason. Nelson St extension along the river side still hasn't been built either.

Looks like HRI Group is the contractor on the renovation and restoration of the heritage building on the corner.

Work has finally started happening on the westward extension of Nelson St on the south side of the 23s building with sewers being installed. Hopefully that means Medallion will finally finish the driveway entrance off South St to connect to Nelson.

Medallion has been slowing working along the west side of the 19s north tower on what looks like utility installs where the driveway could be to access the parking entrance on the west site. The work on the Nelson St extension has not progressed at all. City still is working on the large sewer infrastructure at the southern end of Waterloo St where the plans showed it connecting to the Nelson St extension.

Have now poured the concrete curbs for the driveway entrance on the west side of the 19s. Still working behind the scaffolding on the west side of the heritage building on the corner.
