I really like your first picture.

I love locations like that.

There is a pathway in White Rock to the sea I like to go to that looks exactly like that.

Big heat event coming to the east, I see New York City may hit 39 in a couple days!

Meanwhile in the BC interior a huge cool down arrived today. Up until now June has been quite warm and dry, so honestly a good soaking (monjune) event will be good for the forest fire hazard conditions before going into July and August.

Hot a sticky here in Japan this week. It's been 33 to 36 where I am, only a few hours in the morning have any comfort.

Made it up to 23C with a humidex of 25. Sunny late this afternoon but cloudy early on. Was even raining this morning.

Low of 16C.

The warmspot was Ingonish Beach, NS at 33.0C.

Warmest low was Cheticamp, NS at 20.1C.

Dewpoint of 24.3C was recorded in Saint-Germain-de-Grantham, QC yesterday. That is the high this year.

Like mentioned earlier, first 40+ humidex in Deer Lake, NFLD at 40.2.

Some needed rain, but not much, over the past couple of days. Clear skies and sun now. The wind is howling like a winter storm.

Me neighbours are after making a lot of progress.

My Clematis has gone mad.

And the sunny breaks over the past couple of days were wonderful.

18C and sunny in Moncton at 10 AM, going up to 24C this afternoon.

Rain last night. Yesterday's oppressive humidity is gone.

Rain again tomorrow, with the subsequent return of Yankee augue and heat. The heat dome will result in temperatures as high as 34C next Tuesday. I am anticipating high humidity as well, so it should be quite uncomfortable.

Hot, sticky day although the extreme heat isn't here quite yet. It is currently lightly raining, the extreme heat arrives behind that.

These were earlier today, around Kaladar.

Lots of rain over the past two days, a nice change from what has been a very warm and dry June.

Kelowna hit a high of 14c and drizzly today, lots of areas in the rocky mountains with snow, check out Elkford B.C this morning:

27C (humidex of 28) and sunny. Drier than I expected. But it has started raining and the dewpoint increased from 8C to 16C.

Low of 13C this morning.

The warmspot was Windsor, ON at 31.1C.

Warmest low was Harrow, ON at 20.8C.

Final humidex of 42.2 in Windsor today. Sets up nicely for the rest of the week.

Usually they are very conservative but this time I think EC is going overboard with MTL's low Monday night/Tuesday morning

I challenge you to go and look at people faces in the upcoming heat wave vs what it was back in May during our brutal cold rain episode.

100% they are more happy with 40+ humidex.
It's summer, it should be HOT.

To each their own i guess but the majority of people are happy with this heat wave especially with the complete lack of such this year.

Totally depends on what you're doing. Anyone near the water would be happy as could be.
