Paul Edmonds has grown on me. I really enjoy his unique way of calling the games. TSN seems to use him a lot in their highlight packages now.

Still 300-400 tickets available for tonights game as well. Mostly in the upper deck corners. Watching to see what the prices will come down to as game time approaches.

Scheifele will return! Morrissey is practising with a full-contact jersey, but will not play tonight.

For the Stars, Heiskanen is still out, while Robertson is a game time decision.

I do not understand why Colorado traded away Rantanen. Either way, we would have had to deal with him in the playoffs, as he was the reason Dallas beat Colorado.

Somebody needs to run over Rantanen. The Jets although having a high hit count, really need to do better playing with physicality. They need to clear the net front better as well.

Awful news today as Mark Scheifele's dad passed away last night.

I hope the team rallies around Mark tonight. Whether he plays or not, there's going to be passion in tonight's game.

My heart goes out to him and his family.

After 20 Regular Season GP: $550,000
After 30 Regular Season GP: $550,000

After 50 Regular Season GP: $550,000
After 60 Regular Season GP: $550,000

Jets in playoffs + Toews plays 50 games:$500,000
Jets win 1st RD + Toews plays 50% of games:$250,000
Jets win 2nd RD + Toews plays 50% of Round 2: $250,000
Jets win 3rd RD + Toews plays 50% of Round 3: $250,000
Jets win Stanley Cup + Toews plays 50% of Stanley Cup Final: $1M

According to Puckpedia:

It is a 2M dollar cap hit with a potential of 5M in performance bonuses for a 7M AAV.
“Toews will use up $2M on WPG’s cap during the season. At the end of the year, any bonuses earned are added to final team cap hit. If that brings their new total over the $95.5M cap, any amount over is a bonus carryover cap charge the following season.”

am i the only one not excited by this? He hasn't played in two years....was lousy for two years before that (Iafalo type production)...he's 37 years old.

This better not be the big move to replace Ehlers and find a second line centre....he's a big name but not a big piece anymore....they aren't trying to win the 2013 cup.
