It doesn't have to be corporate ads. It could be anything from local events happening downtown (advertising Jazz, Mammoth games, Broadway shows, concerts...), photographs of Utah's landscapes ... to live events showing on it.

It'd make SLC feel at least a bit more cosmopolitan.

I like your thinking Comrade, the screens could look really cool if done right. We are the land of billboards so why not have a giant Times Square style screen. Would fit right in

A digital art piece could be neat. Sadly, it’d be too tempting not to blow-up giant Ken Garff, Stockton 12, First Credit Union, and Low Book adverts.

Does anyone on this thread know when the next downtown highrise (over 10 floors is scheduled to break ground?

Hasen't the second phase of the West Quarter already begun construction:
I have'not been by there for a while so i,m not sure what is going on.

We’ll probably get a small number of mid-rises and a 350’ hotel with the whole sports/convention center revamp. I could be wrong but I don’t think there’s anything happening in-between then.

I thought a tall residential was part of the SEG plan?
