Great pics. Averaging 18kms a day is a ton of walking. Did you explore any other hoods? After having visited, I've always thought the Beaches in the east end has a similar vibe to some of Vancouver's strips, like West 4th.
Looking at the cladding, I'm skeptical this will translate well over the entire building. It seems dark and heavy.
