This thing is already visible from a lot of streets in Midtown, and still nowhere near done. It will be a new landmark like BoA

The website for 1072 lists the height at 749 feet.

Development leaders also specified in today’s announcement that the 1072 West Peachtree project will stand 749 feet, making it Atlanta’s fifth-tallest high-rise and supplanting Westin Peachtree Plaza Hotel for the No. 5 spot. No taller skyrise has been built in Atlanta since 1992.

Looks like they just finished the first of the two floors that are taller than the others before moving onto the remaining floors with regular heights.
