Two Twelve Condo
Nice. Thanks for the pic. I hadn't seen an update on this in a while. It will be such a nice addition to the river bank. Hopefully it inspires a few more similar developments.
It's unfortunate that people still think clear glass is a great thing. There'll be 10's of birds dead daily at the foot of two twelve. When will people learn? When they start to care....
Excited to see an update on the old Star Phoenix lot-- hopefully some renders soon. Cool to see internal demo work on the old building/ soil testing on the lot to the north. If even half of the developer's dream (a residential tower on each parking lot, sandwiching a grocery store and retail base in the old building) comes to fruition, that would be an other great injection of life and population to downtown. Combined with Baydo, we could really start to see downtown turn around as far as increasing population, demand for grocery and shops/cafes, etc.
Posters: rather than just posting links, it is more satisfying and efficient to post photos directly. For example if you are using ibb, just copy and paste the BBCode:
I’ll give the BBCode a try here, with a couple photos of Baydo Plaza in Aspen Ridge. 5 similar buildings that I believe are all 6 storeys tall. Apologies for the poor quality, I didn’t realize they didn’t turn out till now.
Above the link you see posted, I have that same web address between the appropriate [IMG]codes and it just shows up as a blank space. What am I doing wrong?

The URL has to be the .jpg address, right click on the image and select 'copy image link'
OK, let's try this again. Success! - Thanks Wpg_Guy.
So here's why I was wanting to post these photos. This is a site in the old part of Warman (South Railway Street East). It appears to be the parkade for what is likely to be a multi-unit residential building. My first thought was Baydo, but there's no signage of any type on site, so I don't think it's them.
I've never seen a forming system quite like this one. It appears to be a light gauge steel forming system that gets bolted together, left in place after the concrete is poured, and then spray-foamed prior to backfilling. The other really odd thing is the plastic piping extending from the top of the concrete. Looks similar to pex pipe. I have no idea what it's for.
Seeing unsubstantiated claims that Amazon is building a fulfilment centre in Saskatoon. A recent post mentioned Jeff Bezos and Amazon planning construction near Faithful Avenue and Marquis Drive on land acquired from Concorde Group. Can anyone confirm if this is true?

Probably, since they bought land in Regina for the same purpose. The goal is to have same day delivery for common items.
