If he is posting with not having the proper permits, it won't be hard to issue any tickets etc.

Another one who does nice legal Winnipeg drone shots is Dan Harper photo on YouTube.

Blowout

Embarrassing game tonight. Stanley needs to be scratched from the lineup, and Helly looked like he was sleeping. I know they're still up in the series, but this game did a lot of damage. Not sure if they can regroup after this.

St Louis obviously dominated for stretches of that game. The first 10 minutes put the Jets in a huge hole of course. But the Jets did have some flashes. The chaos that ensues on some of these plays is partly due to the energy St Louis had. and partly due to the Jets being in complete disarray. Hard to blame Helle for some of those goals.

But the 4th goal by St Louis where Helle made the huge blunder behind the net really sealed the deal. The Jets were at the start of a comeback march at 3-1 and that one really hurt the team.

The series is long from over. Big game on Sunday. I think the Jets will be prepared. We'll see what colour jersey Vilardi is in today. I'd worry about rushing him back with the beating St Louis is laying down. Maybe just hold him out until next round unless things go really bad and we're at game 6.

Why do they keep him in when he’s like, that last game too… I’d have pulled him after the second goal, and he still needs to learn to stay in the freaking net.

He’s allowed 4 or more goals in 10 out of 14 career playoff games

Ride with Comrie in Game 5.

Nothing can be worse than playoff Helle. He's worse than Pavelec.

I bet they still go with Hellebuyck. A couple of those goals were not his fault (like the one that went in off Pionk's ass). Defence looked like they had the feet in cement.

If he starts and they have to pull him for a third straight game..

The Jets have provided some good entertainment throughout the regular season, and at this point that is going to have to be enough for me. It appears they are unable to change into a "playoff" team, which seems to mean shifting from a "skill" team into a goon squad. I wish them luck, and I'd be delighted for them to prove me wrong, bust I just don't see anything changing in the next two games.

They will 100% go with Hellebuyck. Arniel has said as much. Winnipeg owned the first period yesterday when they played to their game.

Some of it is hard to blame on Hellebuyck. St Louis has owned the net front, as their coach put it. Some of those tips are impossible to stop. Buchnevich kicks the puck and then tips it just before it goes across the line. Screened shots that go perfectly of the top corner post and in.

Jets defense needs to clear out the net front. But they can't seem to do it against St Lous. I'd 100% ride or die with Hellebuyck. We'll see how things go back in Winnipeg with Jets last change.

Last year vs Colorado, they killed Winnipeg with the long stretch pass and creating chaor. Simialr this year with St Louis, the chaos part.

If we still had Brosoit I would have considered Helle on a short leash in game 4 and a possible switch in for game 5. Comrie guarantees you an L if he starts. It's Helle or nothing.

I hope Vilardi can make his debut and help redistribute some other players to their more natural lines.

Unfortunately Connor Hellebuyck has yet to steal a game for us, that's what goalies need to do once in awhile in the playoffs, even Tabaracci and a young Khabibulin have done this in the past!

No doubt that Bucky has not shown the composure and structure that we have been acustomed to. BUT....it would help if the front end scored a couple more goals each game. They need to get in front of Binnington and create some chaos for him. And, what's with giving up the puck as the period comes to end. Sheif and Iafalo had the puck pinned against the board and let it loose. The game should NOT have been tied after 1. These are things that can be fixed...if they are interested. I expect a much better effort on Wednesday.

Jets really missing Vilardi and Ehlers up front.. Perfetti all year has been 'thiiiis' close. Hitting posts, just missing the open net. Vilardi should be back for Wednesday at this point.

Vilardi is confirmed back from game 5.

Ehlers has been skating and skated again today. Will be in non-contact for full practice tomorrow. I'd expect back for round 2 if Jets make it that far.

All I can think fo this morning is the Jamie Macoun hit on Hawerchuck that broke his ribs back in 1985 (I think?). Jets won the series but couldn't go any further.

Of course I have no idea if history will repeat itself. If Scheifele comes back this series, or any future series they might play, he'll just get targeted and beaten up again, or someone will target Connor's knees or some other goon tactics will injure the Jets out of the playoffs.

I don't know. I guess people like watching this junk, but personally i prefer watching skill players do their thing. IMO regular season hockey has enough hard checking to appeal to the fans who like watching other people in pain, the league doesn't need to turn their game into MMA on ice. BUT...the ratings don't lie, I guess. Watching guys get injured brings in the sponsorship $$, and that's what business is all about in the end.

Sorry...feeling kind of bitter this morning.

Schiefele kept playing after the 2 hits, so I'm hoping his concussion symtoms are minor and can return soon. leaving the ice feet hit needs to be addressed

As expected, Scheifele not travelling to St Louis for game 6.

Vilardi in, Scheifele out. sigh..

Still some chaos in last nights game for the Jets. Need to clear out the net front. St. Louis just bullies them around,. Purposely doing shit to try and draw penalties as well. Stick tapping Hellebuyck for example. Eff those guys haha

Arneil has an interestin decision to make:

Start Hellebuyck and lose (the Blues have figured him out, and he is dreadful).

Or start Comire, and give the Jets a chance.

The only problem is if Arneil goes with Comrie, he could be fired if the Jets lose.

Personally, I hope Comrie starts. It;s the only way the Jets have any kind of chance to win. Helly is broken.
