Of course, it's just one poll, some are outliers, but some seem biased. Whether it's fair or now, the seat count is quite a different thing from the popular vote.

I see Ccarney is in Surrey,BC today which is a smart strategic move. Many ridings in the Lower Mainland and Vancouver Island are close, and his presence will certainly help.

I really think Carney should spend a couple of days in Alberta. I've noticed that the Liberals are probably going to win 2 seats, while there are 8-10 toss ups between Liberals and Conservatives. Every seat in Edmonton is close, and there are 5 seats in Calgary that can turn red.

I do not believe the Liberals have ever won more than 4 seats in the province, so if they can pull off 8-10 seats, it would be a major breakthrough.

Don’t you mean Boomers are greedier than young voters?

Lavished with programs like free dental care recently added on top of government payments like OAS. Meanwhile young Canadians have been screwed out of opportunities to buy their own home thanks largely to Liberal policies like courting offshore money with citizenship for cash schemes, turning a blind eye to money laundering and runaway immigration. Who can blame young voters for turning away from the Libs.

Interesting too are age groups

36-54: CPC 51% LPC 36%
55+: CPC 27% LPC 54%

According to this poll the boomers are saving the Liberal folk.
That poll has the Libs up in Alberta by 17 points (49 to 32) - you can forget about it

I’ve seen a lot of Cons blaming Boomers but the biggest demographic that is supporting the Liberals is women. All ages. It’s a slaughter.

Pierre ran a campaign that targeted Bro’s and is paying for it.

It’s a fun fact that average housing costs in Canada increased by 60% during Harper’s 9 years and 55% during Trudeau’s 9 years.

Lots of homes for young people outside of Toronto and Vancouver.

Quite a day for Pierre. Will defund “woke” universities and solve homelessness by arresting them.

Way to shore up the base.

"Mr. Poilievre channels downright mean. Arresting Canadians struggling to find safe shelter spaces and setting up an encampment is just cold-hearted."

Harper is the one who started this...

An actual plan for building more means a lot, to me. Hopefully Carney's adverts hold true.

He wants to copy failed Trump polices from the US.

Trump is currently in a battle with Harvard over this nonsense. The presidents of nearly 100 post secondary institutions signed a letter of support for Harvard knowing they are next in this battle.

As for Homeless in BC when the police/municipal governments have wanted to go in and take down these camps the courts have stepped in and said you can only do that if you have sufficient housing/shelter to make available to those that would be impacted. I would assume similar restrictions in other parts of the country.

No new legislation is needed. What is needed in housing. In many cases it specialised housing with appropriate support services to transition people off the street.

In Hamilton, the local restrictions on police action have been lifted. I don't know what the end results have been, but I bet they're not great.

The mental health connection to all this has never been acknowledged politically (to my recollection). It looms large, though I've yet to hear a provincial leader say so. Just seems to be ignore the problem and it will go away.

This seems like something you'd find written in a time capsule from the 1990s.

Here are two easily found examples:

Nope.

The flood of money from China got going during the Martin years and subsequent governments turned a blind eye to money laundering. The runaway train wreck of mass immigration, international “students” and TFWs is totally Trudeau’s.

Any specific reason that you're ignoring the fact that dental care covers children as well, with the program scheduled to open up for 18 to 64-year-old Canadians this May?
