Bingo. Our lives are worth NOTHING to the justice system. This mans life was purchased for $2000.00 . Crazy when you look at it that way. It cost Sandeep Singh Bains $2000.00 to Kill this man.

Anybody knows what going on at TRU. Drove by and fencing is up and construction material on site.
Has great views and would make for a nice multifamily site. Pretty sure its not the new fire research center they keep talking about. That should be closer to the new daycare on Mcgill.

Honestly, I think its got something to do with first nations studies or something.
I'm sorry, I find that great as an elective, but its going to have zero real world merit in the future.

Its the Indigenous Education Centre I think. More tax payer money going to a special interest group. Sorry, we should all be equal and we need to stop the special interest groups from ALL side unless they want to pay for it themselves.

A reminder that carving "RAT" into someone with a knife (six years) or whacking someone into a vegetable with a baseball bat (seven years) will get you more time in BC (or at least in Kamloops) than killing someone with a car.

If that's the precedent, make it count I guess.

Tournament Inn is now fenced off and it looks like they are starting to clean the buildings out of trash.

Any news on what's going on with Orchard's Walk? They have completed roadwork and utilities and I can see the RV storage on the other side of the hill is now emptied out.

It's a 91-unit townhouse development, I think where the RV storage is will be their next phase but probably not until they finish this townhouse phase is my best guess.

Its good to see they're actually demolishing and getting rid of the eye-sore, but I have a feeling they're going to sell it as a development parcel rather than develop it themselves, leaving it to sit as a dirt lot for a while

Thanks for the update Vantage. Wish the street facing component of Thompson Landing included ground level commercial to generate some kind of street vibes. A lot of pavement/fencing which doesn't feel very inviting to the neighborhood.
