It's alright. Density is good, but I fear that the residential portion will be more overpriced ACC housing. They charged like $950/mo per bed at UCross, and that was in 2019.

Aesthetically, it's a building. Not a fan of asymmetrical windows in general, but at least this will match the Summit.

Wish they'd continued with the use of traditional materials (but irregular massings) that was started with projects like Chestnut, Lebow, 3201 Cuthbert, etc.

I like it the design and I love that University City's skyline continues to grow denser! It's apparent that the design team took some inspiration from The Summit on 34th and Lancaster.

I like to do an "eye spy" style with my illustrations. If you know the location of the site, you're guaranteed to find it on the illustrations. I like to produce my work how I desire

If you need a hint, it's JUST to the west of 3151 Market Street

No one else finds this design sloppy and incoherent? Love to see this lot filled out, but can we stick to one or two facade types? It's a mess.

But for its surroundings, I'd agree. But in the context of the buildings around it, it makes sense.

The Summit at 34th & Lancaster has a lot going on and turned out okay.

Though I can't tell if the West façade is masonry veneer or metal panels.

Was there any sense of a time line talked about with this proposal?
And is the idea that Drexel is going to keep construction in house or look to have one of their friends take over for just about everything?

I'm ok with this not being a real slick design, but I think it really lacks much focus. If this is just a first rendering, fine, but if this design is mostly complete then I'd say Drexel has again missed a chance to make a solid small statement that their campus could be more than a random collection of misc. buildings.

Just checked the original link on the architect's website and it no longer exists. This was maybe a theoretical exercise, which happens from time to time. Drexel is also not on the client list on their website, which seems odd if they hired this firm to put their name atop a skyscraper
