It's a huge difference. These protestors also chant from the river to the sea which is basically an incitement to genocide but being anti Israel is acceptable speech. I am not sure we need to give people student visas or the like but certainly you should be able to make all sorts of outlandish claims about Israel just as pro Russians make them about Ukraine starting the war or killing civilians or whatever.
It's surprising we are not seeing it be made into an election issue as it was in the states.
