-4C and sunny in Moncton at 11 AM, going up to +2C this afternoon.

Dirt tomorrow. Snow transitioning though ice pellets to freezing rain then rain. Only about 5 cm of accumulation expected, and it should melt quickly. Hopefully this will be the last snow of the year.

A 0 out of 10 day would be one where a natural disaster is actively happening, so I am going to be charitable and give today a 1 out of 10.

We got the Full Monty of precipitation today: snow transitioning to ice pellets transitioning to freezing rain transitioning to heavy rain. Fun!

It's 12°C in Vancouver today, allegedly, mainly sunny with a few clouds.

I may be clueless, but I don't understand some of these cutesy legend explanations.

"Spoon under pillow"
"Pajamas inside out"

The rest seem obvious. Though isn't "ho ho no" too close to a Christmas reference to be apt at other times of the year? No, I'm not a pedant. In any case, any ideas what those two explanations above mean?

More leftover from the winter from hell.

Only up to 1C this afternoon. I see it's snowing outside as we speak. Just —.

Low of -7C (wind chill of -12). This is very cold for April.

Warmspot was Pemberton, BC at 16.0C.

Warmest low was Entrance Island, BC at 7.0C.

-3C and cloudy in Moncton at 9 AM.

Snow moving in shortly, with about 5-10 cm of accumulation expected before transitioning to rain later this evening. Up to +10C tomorrow.

Basically the same shite southern Ontario just received.

Sunny and 15 this morning.

Yesterday's high was 11.7, we got over 35mm of rain, with thunderstorms from morning to night. A few claps of thunder rattled the the windows pretty good

Miserable.

Got hit with a storm that transitioned from heavy snow, to ice, to rain all within a few hours. It was nasty; probably the worst road conditions of the season.

Today is warm, but not really nice. 14 going up to 17, windy and drizzle. Tomorrow looks like it could be a rare pleasant Spring day, with a high of 12 and sunshine.

Next week Monday night into Tuesday morning, up to 10 cm's of snow. A high of -2 forecasted Tuesday. This could be one of the worst April's in recent memory.

I've often said it: this time of year almost always — weather-wise.

Way worse than a January deep-freeze.

Well, it's been a "3 or 4 seasons in one day" kind of day here in Canada's capital region.

After starting off with sub-zero temperatures, snow and freezing rain, and cold winterlike winds, we had cool and rainy weather at midday, and now it's +18 with sunshine. All the snow and ice from this morning is gone.

EDIT: +19C

18C and completely sunny this evening.

It was 0C (wind chill of -6) and snowing at midnight so the turnaround was amazing. Even at 10AM, it was still 5C and rainy.

The warmspot were Sainte Clotilde, QC and Toronto (Downtown), ON at 21.2C.

Warmest low was Windsor, ON at 10.0C.

That may be, but what on earth do "spoon under pillow" and "pajamas inside out" mean?

Supposedly a superstition among kids of things to do to get a snow day.

=4C and partly cloudy in Moncton at 8 AM, going up to +11C this afternoon.

Cyclothymic weather over the next week, alternating between sun and warmth and cloud and snow.

I hate Maritimes springs. Mid March to mid April is the worst........

Sunshine and 17C here yesterday. Very windy, but quite pleasant. More sun and 10C today. Two solid days, a rarity this spring! More unpleasant and cold weather next week sadly.
