The location on Crosbie Road closed on January 27th as well, sign in the window says the lease expired

No great loss really. There’s a Marie’s just up the hill in Cowan heights at Frecker and Blackmarsh and another close by on Blackmarsh and James Lane plus 3 gas stations with convenience stores in the immediate area. Prob why the Hamlyn rd one is closing.

Keep seeing ads on Facebook of them selling the shelves from the former Bed Bath Beyond store/Rooms & Spaces. Wondering if something was said about going in there already

I'm sure a third party is liquidating fixtures and stock on behalf of the landlord in lieu of unpaid rent by Rooms + Spaces.

Heard a rumour of a grocery store opening in the former Rooms & Spaces (Bed Bath & Beyond) spot. I know there was a Dominion there many years ago. But just wondering if it's true there's one opening there

I haven't heard anything thus far. It would make a great spot for a Giant Tiger though.

I thought it would be a great spot for the library. Accessible and outside the main part of the mall. But I think it's like 45,000 Sq ft. and the library noted a space around 4,000 Sq. ft.

I heard from someone inside the mall that No Frills is going in there.

I heard the new "Costpital" on Stavanger Drive will include a Shoppers Drug Mart. I'm not sure if it will be in the parking lot or actually incorporated into the hospital building.

Wasn't sure where to ask this, I guess it's retail but what happened to the Adelaide Brewery project? It's been paused for a long time.

I suspect it's not happening. They were very slow to jump onto the craft beer hype train, and we're at the point now where the craft beer industry is contracting.
