Well. The heavy wet snow from Yesterday is now light and fluffy. Roads are icy but if you drive sane you are ok. Saw maybe 9 cars in the ditch on my way to the office (50) drive today).

Snow blower worked hard last night. but it appears that we got the same amount last night. And its still snowing. This maybe our biggest snowfall of the year. That said by next friday most should be gone. And the reason for the snow , I parked my winter bike for the season.

Reporting that 15cm fell on average yesterday and we should see a total of about 30cm by Sat morning

That's ok, we take great comfort in our National Flag (and hockey stick that holds it proudly) in times of turmoil.

QMJHL playoff have started. The Moncton Wildcats are #1 in the entire CHL. Their first game against the hated Quebec Remparts is tonight. I will be there.

Meanwhile, the U-13 Moncton Hawks team that my eldest son coaches is playing in the provincial championship hockey tournament in Tracadie-Sheila.

Life is hockey. Life is good..............

Did we miss this year's Vancouver Cherry Blossom Festival or did the Cherry Blossom miss the memo this year.

Edmonton has to have at least a foot of snow, at least in my yard it seems to be that much. All since Wednesday night, it hasn't stopped since!

As I shovel the snow I will take solace and remember all the great food I had in Sicily.

As much as I dislike the snow right now we do need the moisture. I was out riding last week and did not see a lot of water in the fields like we should see.

However this is the largest single snowfall we have had in a few years. and based on what I have in my yard right now it looks to be the same accumulation we had all this winter. Good thing is this sow will melt fast.

"Wow, :saluti: when were you in Sicily? During what season and in which cities? It's a shame that when Canadians visit Sicily, they can't bring their beautiful weather (and their respect for civil order )

In Vancouver there are tree-lined streets that look as if they were created by great painters :fuggire:

1C and cloudy. Cold.

Low of -4C (wind chill of -12) this morning.

The warmspot was Lytton, BC at 16.5C.

Warmest low Saturna Island, BC at 9.4C.

I often look at Minneapolis as a comparison since they are on the same lattitude as Montreal. They are on the good side of the storm this time.

It's fully winter again. Currently -0.9C and a thin layer of snow over everything, even tree branches and the ground.

Front and back of the most recent fire the other day.

And the remains of the old fire, last year or whenever...

We are looking at a high of about 11c in the valley bottom, but still plenty of snow up top of the ski hills….

Big white this morning after a 12cm snowfall last night
