+7C and light rain in Moncton at 8 AM.
The thaw is coming to an end though, It is already snowing in western NB and the transition here will likely be around 3 PM. Only about 2-3 cm expected here. Northwestern NB however has a heavy snowfall warning out.
The pre-existing snow on the ground has taken a severe cutting. We are now in the winter/spring transition period. Back up to +9C and sunny by next Tuesday.

Tancredi. You see cottages like this built on sand dunes all over the east coast of the US. It is a somewhat rarer phenomenon in Canada. We have the good sense to realize structures like this can get washed away during storms. Americans, not so much........
