Pretty miserable again. Gloomy and very wet. At least it's not cold.
I didn't bother going out, though.

Saturday's high at Vancouver Harbour was 10 C, the low was 8 C.

0C and sunny in Moncton at noontime.

We are going to have a bit of a thaw this week. Temperatures will be at the freezing mark or above for six of the next seven days. No storms expected.

Same here, yesterday, took cover for the day.
And no, I did not have the cameras running when the earthquake hit
I don't have it on when out of the apartment and when I'm home, not 100% of the time.

13.7C in Ashcroft, BC right now (noon PST). New highest temperature in the country. More than due since the previous high was from mid January.

1PM: Ashcroft now up to 14.3C. Could be the 15C in the country.

2PM: Up to 14.5C now in Ashcroft.

We hit a high of 1 C in Toronto/Mississauga, with overcast and basically no wind.
It was a nice day to go out, but I stayed in as the heavy snowfall has made walking annoying at longer distances. I did go for a small "photo" walk, taking these with my cell phone to indicate the snow level....i's still well over afoot of cover:

-1C with a wind chill of -5 and mainly cloudy. Woot we made to normal this time.

Low of -4C (wind chill of -10) this morning. I think we had about 2 cm of new accumulation overnight.

The warmspot was Ashcroft, BC at 14.7C. New yearly high in the country.

Warmest low was Sisters Island, BC at 8.1C

I didn't get out until the afternoon so I missed the morning sun. But, at least I got back in before the rain started in the late afternoon.

Sunday's high at Vancouver Harbour was 11 C, the low was 8 C.

Wow what a weekend here. got up to 11 on sat and had temps around 9 yesterday. Snow was melting fast; All I heard in my neighborhood Sat was ice being chipped and hacked so the water would run out to the street. Almost time to start showing the kids in the hood about toothpick racing.

Saturday Morning, -4 at first but +6 2 hours later. Most of this snow is gone today.

After a weekend of strong Chinooks, the snow is almost completely gone. Going to be about 10 and windy today!

3C and overcast. A little bit of light rain this evening. Finally some above freezing temperature. It is 6C right now.

Low of -6C (wind chill of -9) last night. Yesterday was the first low above -10C this month. The record breaking 2015 saw 24 straight such days but other than that we have to go back to 1968 to see such a streak. Shows how horrific this winter (and especially February) has been.

The warmspot was Sechelt, BC at 13.5C.

Warmest low was Sisters Island, BC at 7.9C.

Was great to see the big melt happening yesterday. Usually we get those multiple times per winter so the snow doesn't pile up so much, not the case this year. Infact I saw this on the Weather Network. Truly an historic winter.

That melt happened quicker than I expected. I’m glad the snow banks are dwindling as on the weekend I had to roll the dice turning out a parking lot on a semi busy road. Going to be fascinating to watch the snow cover go down on lawns.

Yesterday I noticed this house for the first time along my regular route. I always wonder what’s going on in these situations. Did they go on vacation and not make any arrangements for snow clearing? I assume if they are supposed to be home that wellness checks were conducted.

+8C and sunny in Moncton at 1 PM.

Just one day of spring unfortunately. The temperatures will remain relatively warm (around the freezing mark) for the next several days, but, the weather will be unsettled with mixed precipitation.
