Interesting but where is that located, the rendering context looks made up. Building on the left of it vaguely looks like Modera Midtown.

I'm quite sure that whole project is made up. That looks like a small interior design firm that has filled their portfolio with fantasy concepts for marketing/SEO purposes.

https://www.loopnet.com/Listing/754-Juniper-St-Atlanta-GA/31544020/

The condo building next to the Hadley on Juniper is for sale. Assume that means all the owners agreed to sell.

Yeah, I love these old courtyard style condos/apartments. Its part of our city's architectural heritage like Baltimore's rowhouses or New York's tenement housing.

Planning permit filed for 211 unit apartment building at 1155 La Vista. This is the former site of The Reserve at LaVista Walk, which caught fire in 2023. Height of 76 feet.

Also, the application description is some absolutely hilarious AI nonsense, if you need a laugh today:
Our esteemed client, Bukhaven, LLC, is embarking on an ambitious project to erect a brand new residential building on the recently cleared site at 1155 LaVista Road, NE, where a fire once stood. The remnants of the past have been meticulously removed, paving the way for a striking new structure designed specifically for this prior building pad. This dynamic new building will comprise 211 modern apartment units, boasting a substantial residential floor area of 178,270 square feet and measuring an impressive height of 76 feet. With a gross site area spanning 209,846 square feet, the proposed total Residential Floor Area Ratio (RFAR) is strategically kept below 1.49. Notably, the existing parking deck and adjacent apartment building to the north will remain undisturbed, enhancing the overall appeal of the development. The new total Residential Floor Area (RFA) will reach an impressive 297,118 square feet, culminating in a vibrant community containing a remarkable total of 339 apartment units. This project is set to reshape the landscape and redefine residential living in the area!

Additional movement on 88 Elliott street in Centennial Yards, with an SAP permit filed.

The proposed new structure for 88 Elliott St is a four story, one hundred twenty-seven (127) key, mixed-use (retail and hotel) building. The ground/ first floor will be hotel lobby, bar, and back of house functions, as well as (future) retail and restaurant (shell only at this time), with nine (9) on-site surface parking spaces under and behind the building. The second and third floor are fully hotel guest rooms. The fourth floor is partially hotel guest rooms, with the remaining area providing space for a future F&B/Event/Retail space and roof terrace.

Renovation of the old Atlanta Constitution building has been proposed and cancelled multiple times over the last decade, but maybe there's some momentum now with the Westside Tax Allocation District Ascension Fund putting $3.5 million toward it?

"The initial phase will see the stabilization and cleanup of the 1940s structure—plus “daylighting” of its ground-floor commercial space—to begin in May and finish a month before FIFA World Cup matches begin downtown in June 2026."

Amazing they didn't even bother to have someone do a once-over. They undermine their own application! You generally don't want to say your FAR is "strategic," nor that your height is "impressive."

Heh "an impressive height of 76 feet." 40 more feet and it might even be taller than a tree.

This is AMAZING! More stuff like this. So glad this building is being preserved and not bulldozed.

What does 'daylighting' of its ground-floor commercial space mean in this context? The commercial space will be operational, or the space will just be cleaned up, but not operational yet.

^ Should be 11,600 square feet of ground-floor commercial space open by May 2026.

I think it literally means they're modifying the building to allow more daylight in. That's the only definition of that word I've ever known, anyway.

Not bad. I suspect Blandtown is going to be the place to be in a few more years. It so different than it was 20+ years ago.
