Starting to look more and more like this upcoming storm might lean more ice heavy in the GTA sadly, and the models are dialing back a bit on total accumulation. Still could easily end up with 30 cm's, though.

The storm yesterday was less dramatic than expected in Moncton. We ended up in the sweet spot of the storms path. Areas to the north saw oodles of snow. To our south there was significant freezing rain. We had a little snow followed by ice pellets, which limited accumulation. Also, there seemed to be two bands to the precipitation, with Moncton lying between the two bands for the majority of the storm. I don't think we got more than 3-5 cm of total accumulation here, but, what did fall was quite dense and heavy.
No weather statements or warning have yet been issued for the upcoming storm on Sunday/Monday.
This has been the wintiest winter we've had in a long time. That said, we dodged the worst of the mid week storm. 5-10 cm before it switched to rain. We'll see what happens with the next one.
Today started out uneventful but we just for a quick shot of snow, which appeared to be a streamer off Georgian Bay. Got about 2 cm, I'd say.
-7C with a wind chill of -15 and sunny. Gusty. We are paying for last winter with interest. It's been non stop cold without mild spells. This is now a top 3 worst winter in the last decade for me and looking at models, it might climb the list.
Currently -11C in Moncton at 11 AM (windchill -22) and sunny.
The storm tomorrow into Monday morning sounds like a clone of the last one, but, perhaps a little windier.
The current maps suggest snow beginning in the late afternoon or early evening with a transition to ice pellets in Moncton in the late evening. Yhis will limit accumulations here, with 5-10 cm expected. There will be heavy snow to our north and freezing rain to our south. This places us in the sweet spot.

If St. John's was larger, totally reasonable. You could definitely fool someone who has only visited here, for example. But given my city's small size, I know every single street old enough to have rowhouses. You'd need to be in the suburbs to trick me

We got about 3cm of snow today, then it turned to rain and the temperature went slightly above freezing so there was a lot of melting and a bit of fog. We are supposed to get 10-15 cms starting after midnight and into tomorrow.
