Yes, we all know from 2010-2021 was the absolutely worst span in Longhorn football history, but UT still won a few marquee games - such as manhandling Georgia in the Sugar Bowl five years ago under a coach who got fired.
Longhorn fans are in no way delusional about that fugly decade+.
As long as we are nitpicking the calendar, Texas is 10-3 against A&M since 2000.
Not to mention the Horns have an all-time winning record of 22-17 in College Station.
Of course everyone knows A&M totally dominated Texas in the 1980s & early â90s, but their blatant cheating landed them in the top ten most sanctioned NCAA list and resulted in TV & Bowl bans.
Luckily they didnât get the Death Penalty even though the Aggies deserved it because the NCAA saw what that did for the SMU program. Tsk-tsk.
But we should give A&M credit for being so rich they can afford to pay a coach $9,000,000 a year to not coach their football team, and instead watch him throwing the Horns-up sign while roaming the Texas sideline during the Peach Bowl.
