Arc'Teryx (3346) got their building permit issued. Also A&W (1216) opening. I assume it's the CRUs next to the Skytrain station entrance?

Just noticed on that leasing plan that weird concrete entrance off of Cambie is called the Infinity Entrance.

Also outdoor seating patio for Timeout

Quote:
To install outdoor seating areas, (East Patio 158 persons, West Patio 293 persons), to be used in conjunction with the proposed Food Primary Hall use, (Timeout Market), on the site.

Any real estate insiders have insight into how many of these units were actually sold? Question prompted by a snippet in an article I posted in the Rental thread:

...And now that foreign and domestic investor money has fallen off, the small investor condos that have been built aren’t desirable to non-investors. He notes that downtown luxury towers and the massive Oakridge project are a concern for the market because there is a lot of unsold inventory....

I haven't checked to see what prices are recently, but back in 2020ish, a two bedroom apartment on the 28th floor was selling for two million dollars. That market has completely disappeared.

The bigger question would be how many purchasers will actually complete/close?

Not sure where these units are on the map but they've set them aside for the presentation centre.

Floor level 2, suite number 4220 and 4226

Douglas Todd interview with the head of Sutton Realty:

Quote:
McCredie said the Oakridge Park project, being built by Westbank and QuadReal, should have been “phased in over a period of time,” rather than being rushed to completion later this year.

“I think that it will be the single largest loss for a housing developer in Canadian history.”

A bunch of building permit applications went in earlier this month in the mall

Birks (3107), Hugo Boss (3352), Chaumet (3513), Swarvoski (3325), Wireless Wave (2110), Sporting Life (3549), 3170 (Dior), Aritzia (3570)

3549 is that large CRU near Cambie/West 45th in the SE corner.

WOW!
I would have had that pegged for a Zara (but I guess the HBC space is up for demising/grabs).
Good to see that they have not given up on Vancouver given the Brentwood experience. I wonder if it'll also be partially a GolfTown?
It's 32,067 sq ft.

Added the new ones to the previously released plan based on the unit numbers.
Birks is Time Vallee.
Wireless Wave and A&W are in the passage from the Canada Line station a level below.

Based on the rendering posted in the retail thread, the Chanel store is on a corner, so probably kitty corner to Tiffany & Co
(and not opposite Rolex)?

Yeah it was 3116 which matches that spot for Chanel.

The North Galleria looks like it has a massive skylight over that section which matches up with the rendering. (The West Galleria video I think starts off on the North section)

GreenTee Golf Shop is opening but it seems like a high end brand. Maybe Sporting Life will have a more consumer friendly offering.

Retail Insider says it's a 2800 sq feet space for GreenTee

https://retail-insider.com/retail-inside...-in-effort-to-draw-visitor-foot-traffic/

There's a crane base going through their unit and it seems like it's on an outer section of the mall.
