So for years I had this spot picked out north of Miesville, MN where the terrain lines up just right that it was
maybe possible to see the Minneapolis skyline in the right conditions. For years I had it sitting there, until today I went finally went out there to see for myself and holy cow, there it was in plain sight—Minneapolis from 33 miles away!
Now I don't want to speak in absolutes, because for all I know I could be totally wrong on this—but given that I've spent 5 years scouring the internet for Minneapolis skyline pictures and haven't found anything from further than 30 miles, I'm calling this the furthest view of Minneapolis ever captured from ground level. However, I would be happy to be proven wrong

For anyone located in the Twin Cities area, this picture was taken at coordinates (44.615194, -92.810579), on 230th St a mile north of Miesville in Dakota County.
