This ones getting tall FAST thanks to the smaller floors. Can't wait for it to top out next year

That lower portion looks so good with the sharp contrast. I wish we could have a tower turned opposite with the black and white crisp lines running vertical that would accentuate the height . Could even light it like the refurbished National tower in Dallas

Yup. From my napkin math, it looks like even with the holidays they've managed to rise 7 floors between the first week of November and now, meaning it's right at 1 floor/week.

Based on that video, I have it at ~752' at the top of the core.

This tower is starting to grow on me. I’m preferential to the monolith boxes of Houston and Dallas but I think once this is done and the river in front of it gets beautified this will be a real gem. The last time I was in Austin around Labor Day 2023 this was just a big hole in the ground, now it’s almost halfway there! Congrats to Austin for continuing to build to the sky.

I am looking forward to the second level of residential floors covered in cladding to see how the balconies will start to look when finished. And also the interesting way the hotel, at the bottom, has wide thin rectangles outlined in white. Then the office levels are less wide and taller, and now on top the residential floors are going to be almost white outlined squares. The opposite progression of what one would think would be put on a 1,000'+ tower.

This tower is turning out very nice, IMO.

Thumbs up

I froze it at the 2:53 second mark. That is such an amazing shot !!!
I remember 15 plus years ago wishing we had an awesome skyline. I had a dream one time about us having an awesome skyline and then I woke up and was so disappointed it was a dream. I still remember that dream and the skyline I dreamt about was NOTHING compared to our current skyline. Just an amazing journey we have been on for the last 15 plus years !!

Waterline is at 52 floors now. Took this pic from the Fairmont over the weekend.
