En route to the Oilers game (and victory) last night.

Loving those Edmonton pics, Coldrsx. The proposed development for the Rogers 'fan park' is a great idea, didn't think three hockey rinks could be installed there with space to move around, but that looks reasonable. Would be cool if the Oilers also did some outdoor practice there once in a while.

Not loving the port-o-potties row there though, that kind of cheapens it up.

They are your tax dollars; courtesy of equalization payments to Quebec.

They ran a media campaign telling taxpayers it would cost a billion dollars to tear it down.

Indirectly, yes. That money is at the discretion of the province to do with as it pleases, and doesn't affect me if it's redirected from say, healthcare or education. That's what I meant by that.

They actually claim $2B to tear it down!

Looks good but, there may be too many trees and raised planters. And there appears to be two playoff viewing areas which feels a little confusing. I'm too experienced to stand outside and watch a game so that may just be me. Two place may be better than one.

The arena looks decent although I'm not a fan of the exterior. Rexall Place is more visually impressive.
