And there is more!

"A number of people" stabbed in downtown Vancouver: VPD
https://dailyhive.com/vancouver/downtown-vancouver-stabbed
When the attacker recovers from his gunshot, I'm sure he will be arraigned and then jailed for maybe a year tops, then released to roam among us again, ingest lots of free drugs and then attack those who are in the wrong place and time. So looking for the extra drama.

Oh, FFS... !!!

A few seconds walk from my front door.
I don't get out and about much these days but when I do I walk past
that 7-11 on my way to the bus stop.

Where can I buy a Kevlar vest?

Take care, scary to think it could have been anyone here.

Maybe it's time to ban 7-11 and Timmie Ho's from downtown. Total loser magnets.

I imagine this will lead to beefing up police presence this weekend with the Swift concerts literally down the street from this location.

Maybe Lululemon can come out with a line of stab proof vests.

Also, idiot bystanders begging to get hit by a stray bullet.

I’m 99.9% this is sarcastic, but be careful, someone will take that seriously and think closing convenience stores and restaurants is the solution.

Now excuse me while I go to one of the thousands of safe convenience stores here in Japan.

Yet for some reason 7-11s in North American cities are disorder magnets in a way that Mom & Pop convenience stores never are.

That's why I'm surprised Japan's Seven and i don't let Couche-Tard at least buy the ones here. Why do the Japanese feel so attached to these places?

Maybe send in the cops that were at the 7-11.

I’m guessing the managers / owners decided to close it down, which isn’t what I was alluding too. If it was forced to close by the city, now that would be some serious chasing the symptoms and not the illness.

There really isn’t much to say anymore though. People in BC, especially the coast, just keep supporting and electing the same brand of people / ideologies that have led to these degrading living conditions.

I will admit 15 years ago I was one of them, but after seeing the increasingly bad results / deterioration my political and ideological positions have evolved.

The judicial system needs a massive enema, but for that to happen the educational system, especially post secondary, also requires a massive enema since the severe idealogical capture on campuses will only continue to pump out useless justices.

Screw you too buddy. It's a 24 hour convenience store.
You wanna call me a loser because I stumble through the doors at 12:30 am looking for cheap pizza and Live Wires after bar hopping? The gas stations if they are open won't let you inside after midnight.

Convenient for who? Junkies and criminals?

Hopefully this will finish off the Robson and Hamilton location, like a cockroach stomped when a light shines on it.

Because that will solve the problem!

It’s not the contemporary culture / social political / judicial system that’s the problems… it’s a 24 hour convenience store that doesn’t even sell liquor!!

Bike theft is also rampant in Vancouver, so I guess the solution is to stop selling bikes?????

God, keep chasing the symptoms of symptoms!
