Project Information

Red Leaf will be the first operating entity to identify, develop, construct and operate an alternative fibre plant in Canada.
Construction is scheduled to begin in Q4 2024 and full operations will commence in Q1 2026.
The plant will convert cereal straw into market pulp and co-products.
The initial facility is anticipated to utilize approximately 400,0000 tonnes of cereal straw (All Wheat, Oats and Barley) to produce 200,000 tonnes of pulp and 30,000 tonnes of co-product per year.
The initial facility in Regina SK will employ 130+ direct jobs and bring $1.7 Billion in economic benefits during the first 10 years of operations.
This is a massive plant. Construction is to start soon.
