I never thought I'd live to see the day that a downtown parking garage gets demolished.
That cap over 37 will be quite a hill, considering the highway is already mostly above grade.
The convention center expansion looks like it will make that terminus of the river walk a positively subterranean experience. Maybe they'll do it up like a cave, that would be fun.
The Alamodome looks like a sagging cake for a child's fourth birthday.
I'm glad they're keeping the former courthouse. That's an interesting hemisfair building, unlike the concrete bunker of the ITC. And they're making it another event venue even though the Lila Cockrell Theatre is right there and totally unused. Downtown San Antonio has so many event venues, and so few events!
